XRP makes history as it lights up the iconic Namsan Seoul Tower in a visual display in support of the XRP SEOUL 2026 event.
This milestone is a high-profile display of XRP at one of South Korea’s most recognizable landmarks. For context, the Namsan Seoul Tower stands 236.7 meters, or about 777 feet, tall and is officially recognized as one of Seoul’s representative landmarks.
XRP takes its presence in Seoul beyond the conference stage, with the iconic Namsan Seoul Tower lighting up in a striking display for the cryptocurrency community. Images shared by the XRP SEOUL 2026 X account captured the moments when XRP SEOUL 2026, XRP and K-Weather logos appeared on the Seoul skyline.
Namsan Seoul Tower also brought the XRP ecosystem to the Seoul skyline as it lit up with XRPL participants, including Doppler Finance and Evernorth.
According to the XRP SEOUL 2026 X account, Namsan Seoul Tower was illuminated on the evening of the event to celebrate what organizers described as a record day for the XRP community in Korea. The display formed part of the broader XRP SEOUL 2026 celebrations and would remain visible until 11 p.m. KST.
As reported, the XRP Seoul event drew over 5,000 attendees from the XRP Korean community, highlighting the growing activity surrounding the XRP Ledger ecosystem in Asia.
Ripple launches XRP Asia
At the XRP Seoul event, a special announcement was made about what’s coming next for the XRP ecosystem in Asia: XRP Asia.
Jointly founded by Ripple and the XRP Ledger Foundation, XRP Asia is led by Sabrina Tachdjian and focuses on strengthening the connections, resources and pathways that can help the ecosystem grow.
XRP Asia is a new organization focused on growing the ecosystem across Asia-Pacific, supporting builders, startups and communities through dedicated programs, resources and events.
The vision is to make XRPL the go-to blockchain for builders across Asia and for the region to become a major engine of growth and adoption for the broader XRP ecosystem. The creation of XRP Asia comes as XRPL is gaining significant momentum globally and ecosystem support needs are growing.
