TLDR
- XRP Ledger active accounts reportedly reached 30,604 on October 26, about 65% above the 30-day average.
- Network participation nearly doubled compared with quieter periods that recorded 15,000 to 16,000 active accounts.
- XRP traded near $1.29 despite the increase in network activity.
- Technical indicators continued to show weak buying pressure, with XRP trading below several moving averages.
- Total nonempty XRP Ledger wallets reached a reported record of 8.24 million.
The XRP Ledger recorded a jump in daily active accounts on October 26, while XRP traded near $1.29. The gap between network use and price follows months of quieter activity this year.
Figures attributed to XRPScan put active accounts at 30,604, compared with a 30-day average of 18,600. That places the latest count about 65% above the monthly norm. It approaches twice the 15,000 to 16,000 accounts seen on slower days.
XRP Ledger Activity Moves Higher
The reported count rose 6% from the previous day. Active accounts measure unique senders who use the network during a given period. They do not show how many individual people control those accounts or why transactions occur.
The one-year chart shows most daily readings between 13,000 and 20,000 during 2026. Activity eased between June and August, then rose again in September. A report on network transactions stated that the ledger processed 3.6 million transactions over 24 hours on October 24.
More Accounts Do Not Mean More Buyers
Network use can increase when wallets send XRP and place trading orders. One person or business can also operate several accounts. The active-account count alone cannot separate regular use from short-lived market activity.
That distinction matters because transaction numbers and payment values can move in different directions. A higher count does not establish new customer growth or steady demand for XRP.
XRP Price Holds Near $1.30
On TradingView’s daily chart, XRP stood near $1.29 after falling from September and October levels around $1.55 to $1.60. An October 23 market report traced a decline toward $1.30 after buyers failed to hold $1.40.
XRP remained below several moving averages on October 26. The relative strength index stayed in the lower half of its range. Reports placed nearby support around $1.25 to $1.26 and resistance near $1.35 to $1.40. Higher activity has not reversed that trend.
Wallet Growth Meets Weak Price Trend
Meanwhile, wallet figures put the total number of nonempty XRP Ledger wallets at a record 8.24 million. The same report described fewer large XRP holders and higher exchange balances, showing another measure of market activity. Daily active accounts and total wallets track different measures. The next readings will show whether activity stays above its monthly average.
