Net sales came in at $4.31 billion, up 61% from a year ago. The Street had expected $3.75 billion.
That is a beat of $0.39 a share on earnings and about $560 million on revenue. Not a bad day at the office.
CEO Giordano Albertazzi pointed to demand as the driver. “We are in the middle of the largest infrastructure buildout and it’s accelerating,” he said.
He added that the demands on data center infrastructure are “evolving faster than ever.” He said Vertiv’s role in that buildout keeps expanding.
