We’re pleased to announce that Kraken now supports deposits and withdrawals of USDC on Arc. USDC funding via Arc is now live.
Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.
About Arc
Arc is an open, EVM compatible Layer 1 platform built for financial markets, real-time money movement, and agentic economic activity. It is designed as a settlement foundation for core financial workflows including settlement, collateral, treasury and issuance, while interoperating with ecosystems such as Ethereum and Solana.
Arc uses stablecoins as gas, starting with USDC, so transaction costs are denominated in dollars and stay predictable regardless of transfer size. Transactions reach deterministic finality in under a second, which removes challenge risk and supports real-time financial workflows. The network includes opt in privacy controls that let businesses shield sensitive transaction details while preserving auditability. Arc is secured by a geo diverse, known institutional validator set and is integrated with Circle’s platform, including USDC, CCTP and Gateway.
Arc mainnet is live as of September 16, 2026, following a private mainnet period that according to Arc included more than 100 ecosystem and institutional builders. Markets available at launch span lending, borrowing, trading, onchain FX, payments and tokenized assets.
Please note:
- Trading via Kraken App and Instant Buy will be available once the liquidity conditions are met (when a sufficient number of buyers and sellers have entered the market for their orders to be efficiently matched).
- Geographic restrictions may apply
Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is to never reveal any details until shortly before launch – including which assets we are considering. All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our Listings Roadmap and social media profiles. Our client engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about which assets we may be making available in the future.
Although the term “stablecoin” is commonly used, there is no guarantee that the asset will maintain a stable value in relation to the value of the reference asset when traded on secondary markets or that the reserve of assets, if there is one, will be adequate to satisfy all redemptions.
