TL;DR

  • Kraken Prop is adding the Nasdaq 100 as its first market outside crypto, expanding the funded-account trading program beyond its existing digital asset lineup.
  • The Nasdaq 100 now trades 24/7 on Kraken Prop with no expiry, no rollover, and no forced closures around weekends.
  • Evaluations start at $20, with no consistency rules, no time limits, and you take an 80–90% profit split once funded.
  • Kraken is a regulated exchange, giving traders a transparent, trusted venue to access an index they already know how to trade.

If you trade index futures through a funded-account firm, the rules are familiar: fixed sessions, contract rollovers, forced closures before the weekend. The Nasdaq 100 is the second most-traded equity index future in the world, and until now, trading it meant working inside those constraints no matter which prop firm you used.

Today, we’re adding the Nasdaq 100 to Kraken Prop,* our funded-account trading program, as its first market outside crypto. It’s the same evaluation model traders already use on Prop, now applied to an index you already know how to trade.

Why trade the Nasdaq 100 on Kraken Prop

We’ve built Nasdaq 100 trading on Prop around the same always-on model as our crypto markets:

  • No market close. The Nasdaq 100 on Kraken Prop trades 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There’s no 4 p.m. cutoff and no pre-market or after-hours distinction to track.
  • No expiry or rollover. There’s no contract to roll and no expiration date to manage. Hold a position as long as your account rules allow, including through weekends.

How the evaluation works

Nasdaq 100 evaluations run on Prop’s existing rulebook. Choose from the Starter, Intermediate, or Advanced tier, with funded wallet sizes from $5,000 to $200,000 and entry fees starting at $20. From there:

  • No consistency rules. There’s no minimum win rate or required trading pattern to hit your target.
  • No time limit. Trade at your own pace. There’s no clock running out on your evaluation.
  • 3% max daily loss. Your risk limit is defined upfront, so you always know what you’re working within.
  • 2x leverage. Trade the Nasdaq 100 with leverage built for the instrument.
  • Keep 80–90% of your profits. Once funded, you can withdraw payouts to your Kraken wallet within 24 hours.

Built for traders who already know the market

Skilled index traders don’t need a new market to learn. They need capital to trade the one they already understand. If you’ve built an edge on the Nasdaq 100 through a traditional futures-prop firm, that edge doesn’t change here.

What changes is the friction: no session windows, no rollovers, and a regulated name behind the capital.

Get started

The Nasdaq 100 is live on Kraken Prop now. Choose an evaluation tier, prove your edge, and trade the index you already know, on your terms.

* The maximum position size for Nasdaq 100 trading is $100,000 in notional value per trader.

This is an unregulated service. This evaluation program is intentionally rigorous and designed to verify a trader’s risk-management skill and strategy discipline before any proprietary capital is allocated by Payward Oceanic Ltd. Most applicants do not pass on their first attempt and there is no guarantee that your performance will improve or that you will pass any future evaluations. Prospective traders should purchase an evaluation only if they are confident in their trading ability and knowingly accept the risk of not qualifying for a funded account. Evaluation fees are non-refundable for each attempt once trading begins, regardless of outcome.
