Citizens JMP raised its price target on Robinhood Markets (HOOD) to $165 from $155 on Friday, keeping its Market Outperform rating in place. The stock was trading at $113.33 at the time, putting the new target roughly 46% above the current price.
The upgrade is driven by Robinhood Chain, the company’s blockchain platform. Citizens is now modeling around $1 million per day in net chain revenue for 2027, or about $365 million for the full year. That assumes Robinhood hits the 85% revenue-sharing tier by then, which would imply approximately $1.2 million per day in underlying sequencer revenue.
For context, that figure is about 65% below the $3.3 million average daily pace recorded during the seven days ended September 8. Citizens flagged that Labor Day likely inflated activity and is not carrying that pace forward.
The new $165 target is based on roughly 30x EV/2027 adjusted EBITDA, also supported by a long-term discounted cash flow analysis. The stock currently trades at a P/E of around 50.

Robinhood’s most recent earnings gave analysts plenty to work with. The company posted EPS of $0.62 for the quarter, topping the $0.44 consensus by $0.18. Revenue came in at $1.31 billion, ahead of the $1.29 billion estimate, and up 32.5% from the same quarter a year ago. Net margin hit 42.01%.
