Binance has revoked all API keys associated with SignalPlus after the digital asset trading infrastructure provider identified a potential security vulnerability, prompting the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange to take measures to protect users.
The exchange confirmed Thursday that the decision was intended to prevent possible unauthorized access through connections established between Binance accounts and SignalPlus. Binance emphasized that its internal systems had not been compromised and that customer funds remained safe.
Source of Security Issues
For now, the reason or the nature of the incident remains unclear. Neither the severity of the potential vulnerability nor the number of users affected has been cleared out by either companies.
