Wall Street giant Morgan Stanley has continued to double down on its Bitcoin holdings, drawing attention from the crypto community amid unstable market conditions.
According to recent data shared by Arkham Intelligence, the renowned banking firm has bought Bitcoin continuously for the past three days.
Wall Street holds $400 million of Bitcoin
Just a few months after it launched its MSTU Bitcoin ETF in April, Morgan Stanley has continued to expand its Bitcoin holdings. The firm has become more consistent recently, purchasing the leading crypto asset for three consecutive days.
Following its steady Bitcoin accumulation, further data showed that the banking giant now holds about $400 million worth of Bitcoin, signaling its conviction in the asset despite the market downturn.
The move reflects the bank’s commitment to expanding its crypto ventures, as it has recently launched the cheapest Ethereum and Solana ETFs.
With these moves, Morgan Stanley is positioning itself as one of the major crypto ETF-issuing companies, providing institutional investors with seamless and cost-effective crypto investment products.
Is Morgan Stanley bullish?
The consistent Bitcoin purchases from Morgan Stanley have come at a time when Bitcoin is showing mixed price action, slipping in and out of the green territory while hovering around the $64,000 mark.
With the firm buying the asset at such an uncertain time, the move has drawn attention from crypto analysts who have expressed curiosity about whether the purchases reflect the bank’s conviction in Bitcoin or whether it is merely seeking liquidity, sparking debates among market watchers.
