We’re pleased to announce that Kraken now supports deposits and withdrawals of Global Dollar (USDG) on the Arbitrum One network. USDG funding via Arbitrum One is now live.
Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.
About USDG
Global Dollar (USDG) is a US dollar-denominated stablecoin issued by Paxos and redeemable one-to-one for US dollars. Reserve assets are held in cash and cash equivalents in segregated accounts.
On Arbitrum One, USDG is issued natively by Paxos as an ERC-20 token rather than bridged from Ethereum. Deposits and withdrawals between Kraken and Arbitrum One therefore settle directly, without a third-party bridge or the canonical bridge’s withdrawal period.
USDG is the core asset of the Global Dollar Network, a consortium of exchanges, wallets and fintech platforms working to expand access to a regulated digital dollar. Kraken is a member of the network.

- Ensure the network selected on Kraken matches the network used to send your funds. Mismatched deposits will be lost.

Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is to never reveal any details until shortly before launch – including which assets we are considering. All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our Listings Roadmap and social media profiles. Our client engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about which assets we may be making available in the future.
Although the term “stablecoin” is commonly used, there is no guarantee that the asset will maintain a stable value in relation to the value of the reference asset when traded on secondary markets or that the reserve of assets, if there is one, will be adequate to satisfy all redemptions.
