The XRP token has come very close to confirming a major inverse head-and-shoulders reversal structure on the daily chart. According to analysts, including well-known chart tracker Ali Martinez, a price close above the key resistance level could officially launch a bullish roadmap targeting $2.00.
The entire chart structure has been forming throughout the summer and looks mathematically precise:
- Left shoulder: June consolidation.
- Head: the absolute bottom at the August lows around $1.00.
- Right shoulder: the current plateau in the $1.32–$1.36 range.
The main trigger right now is the so-called neckline at $1.55. As soon as a daily candle closes above this resistance, the pattern will be considered technically complete. The clean geometry of the pattern projects a move of roughly 35%, directly toward the psychological $2.00 level.
The situation is also being fueled by the moving averages: the 50-day EMA has moved extremely close to the 200-day EMA, with a gap of less than 2%, signaling the potential formation of a classic medium-term golden cross.
Market absorbs liquidity faster than whales bring it in: What to know about XRP
While technical analysis points to potential upside, on-chain data from CryptoQuant adds hard economic context to the story. Over the past 30 days, large investors have transferred a six-month record of 1.5–1.6 billion XRP to Binance.
In exchange practice, such volumes are often deposited for margin collateral, derivatives contracts, or over-the-counter transactions rather than for immediate selling on the open market.
The very fact that the arrival of this enormous amount of liquidity has not triggered panic, while XRP’s spot price continues to hold firmly within the boundaries of the right shoulder, points to strong positioning among buyers. The market is successfully absorbing this supply, creating a foundation for a potential shortage of coins once whale inflows begin to decline.
Buyer confidence is also being supported by a stable news backdrop. The U.S. Senate’s rejection of the CLARITY Act on September 15 was a negative signal for the market, but the CFTC continues to treat the token as a digital commodity, largely removing it from most SEC claims.
At the same time, Ripple is expanding the network’s fundamental utility. The beta testing of XRP Ledger integration into Stripe and Tempo infrastructure, which began on September 17, opens a clear niche for the token in instant micropayments between autonomous AI programs.
The roadmap to $2.00 is ready, but the fate of the rally is being decided within the current price corridor. The key task for bulls is to defend right-shoulder support at $1.32–$1.33. If a daily close confirms a breakout above the $1.55 neckline, the launch of the projected 35% move will become a matter of technical execution.
