Funding and trading
KII trading is live as of August 14, 2026.
To add an asset to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset you’re after, and hit ‘Deposit’.
Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.

KiiChain (KII)
KII is the native gas and utility token of KiiChain, a proof-of-stake Layer 1 built as an onchain FX layer for stablecoins and real-world assets. KiiChain connects global stablecoin liquidity such as USDT and USDC with locally denominated stablecoins across emerging markets, supporting cross-border payments, remittances, trade settlement and fiat swaps. At its core is a hybrid matching engine that sources onchain liquidity across blockchain ecosystems while using centralized pricing to hedge and rebalance positions, enabling 24/7 operation on pairs that traditionally trade only during business hours.
Built on the Cosmos SDK with EVM compatibility, KiiChain supports Solidity smart contracts and connects to other networks via IBC. KII has a fixed total supply of 1.8 billion, with minting disabled at the protocol level, and is used for gas, staking and onchain governance.

- Trading via Kraken App and Instant Buy will be available once the liquidity conditions are met (when a sufficient number of buyers and sellers have entered the market for their orders to be efficiently matched).
- Geographic restrictions may apply
Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is to never reveal any details until shortly before launch – including which assets we are considering. All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our Listings Roadmap and social media profiles. Our client engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about which assets we may be making available in the future.
