Apple (AAPL) stock climbed 3.5% on Friday, hitting $332.97 and touching near its 52-week high of $334.99, as investors warmed to the company’s lean approach to artificial intelligence.

Apple’s most recent quarterly results gave investors another reason to feel good. The company reported EPS of $2.01 for Q3, beating the consensus estimate of $1.95 by $0.06.
Revenue came in at $111.18 billion, topping expectations of $109.46 billion. That’s a 16.6% increase year-over-year.
Net margin was 27.15%, and return on equity hit 146.69%. Analysts now expect full-year EPS of $8.76.
Apple also raised its quarterly dividend to $0.27 per share, up from $0.26. The annualized yield stands at 0.3% with a payout ratio of 13.06%.
Analyst Targets and Institutional Activity
Bank of America has a Buy rating on AAPL with a $380 price target. Monness Crespi & Hardt recently raised their target from $315 to $335, also with a Buy. Rosenblatt sits on the other end with a Neutral rating and a $276 target.
The current consensus is “Moderate Buy” with an average price target of $327.40. Of analysts covering the stock, 23 rate it a Buy, nine Hold, and two Sell.
Baird also reiterated an Outperform rating this week and raised its price target, adding to a run of positive analyst moves heading into earnings season.
On the institutional side, Kornitzer Capital Management trimmed its position by 1.5% in Q1, selling 6,492 of its 421,039 shares. Apple still makes up 2.3% of the firm’s portfolio.
Ford announced this week it will embed Apple Maps directly into upcoming EVs, extending Apple’s software ecosystem further into the automotive space.
Institutional investors and hedge funds collectively own 67.73% of AAPL stock. The 50-day moving average is $306.62 and the 200-day sits at $279.01.
