SHIB Metaverse update
The aforementioned account has also published a fresh update on the Shiba Inu metaverse. This announcement says that the SHIB team has made “the experience smoother, faster, and more immersive for everyone.”
In particular, the following virtual hubs have been improved: “Shib Station, Technology Trench, and Bark Park.” More than 200 texture files have been optimized, resulting in a 15-25% GPU memory usage reduction.
The following improvements have also been introduced: “Smoother gameplay, lower VRAM usage, faster load times, sharper lighting and environment details.”
The X posts revealed that these upgrades were part of a wider plan to “Optimize the Future” scheduled for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. In the near future, Metaverse will be able to support more users and dapps as such a new feature as the dApp Store has been added and the Shib Alpha Layer is going to be rolled out soon.
The current update, @Shibizens stated, has helped to turn the SHIB Metaverse into “a more powerful, useful, and beautiful hub for everything being built on Shibarium.”
